PayPal Here app hits the Windows Phone platform

PayPal Here launched about a month ago for Windows PCs and today, the Windows Phone app was launched. It seems like the upcoming Windows 10 is drawing the attention of large companies towards Microsoft’s mobile platform.

The app offers PayPal transactions on the go and it sports a clean and friendly interface with straightforward options. It’s business-oriented, so the average user isn’t likely to be interested in this, but at least merchants who prefer Windows Phone can now use it to accept credit and debit card payments, as a POS solution and for back office management.

PayPal Here supports all devices running under Windows Phone 8.1 and needs a mobile card reader that can be plugged into the audio jack. Nevertheless, be aware there’s no monthly subscription or anything similar, but a 2.7% fee is retained for each transaction in the U.S.
