Goat Simulator, a game that is potentially what spawned hundreds of other goofy simulator games (cow simulator, cat simulator, etc), is now available to play on both iOS and Android. It wasn’t long ago that this was announced, and Coffee Stain Studios was pretty quick about getting the mobile port released. The PC version has seen widespread success, so it only makes sense that they wanted to continue to ride that success into the mobile version, and get it out as soon as possible.
For those who don’t know anything about this game, it’s essentially a no-goal concept, and all you really want to do is destroy everything you can while exploring the world as a goat. It’s not a game that where you can level up your goat and complete quests in an epic fantasy world. There’s a lot of Easter eggs and fun things to discover, but at the end of the day you’ve really got to enjoy silly games and have a specific sense of humor to play this game for an extended period of time.
Price-wise, you can pick this one up for $4.99 on either the Play Store or the App Store. There are no IAPs for Goat Simulator, and honestly I don’t think there’s anything that would merit an IAP. Compatible devices include iPhone 4S and above, iPad 2 and above, as well as iPod Touch 5 and above.
