Hopeless: The Dark Cave Released for iOS and Android

One of the more noteworthy releases from the past few days, is Hopeless: The Dark Cave. Players take the role of a glowing blob, among a pack of other blobs who are lost in the dark — luckily they are armed to the teeth and not too afraid the shoot any monsters who may try to attack. Although this game doesn’t boast a huge campaign or variety of game modes, it still is a great time waster and isn’t like most games for iOS/Android.

As expected, there is an in-game store where players can purchase upgrades to help them progress through the game quicker. Hopeless: The Dark Cave promises to offer gameplay that will help test your reflex skills and hopefully improve them. If you get bored with games before making it through the tutorial, you won’t need to worry about that — this game allows you to start playing the real game right away. The developers have already hinted at an upcoming update that will include some sort of multi-player functionality, though it may be limited to something as similar as a leader-board system.
