Glu Mobile has just released the first sequel to it’s Frontline Commando series, appropriately titled Frontline Commando 2. The game involves plenty of futuristic warfare combat, with a strategic squad style game-play. Players will have a total of 40 unique missions to complete in the main campaign, as well as various other challenges to accomplish. In total, there are 65 different squad members to unlock and interchange within your own squad, leaving plenty of room for customization.
The 40 missions are spread out through 7 main areas, each equipped with a different arsenal of enemies — everything from long ranged snipers to helicopters and tanks. Utilize your squad, along with your heavy weaponry, to battle through the levels and complete your mission. Each mission has a unique series of events you’ll want to be prepared for, so make sure you equip yourself with a applicable squad. Your squad members have different roles, such as a medic or a sharpshooter. Players are also able to fully customize and upgrade their weapons as they progress through the game.
Frontline Commando 2 also comes with an intense PvP mode, where you can battle against your friends and other players in realistic, fast-paced combat. This game is sure to provide you with hours and hours of entertainment, and it is available for free on both iOS and Android. Since it’s release, the game has seen very positive reviews, with an average rating of 4.5 stars on the Google Play Store — based on 4,500+ votes as of now. Although, some players have hinted that the game relies to heavily on a pay to win structure.
